In their shoes · A sales manager approving monthly results

Before and after.

Every month-end, sales operations pulled performance numbers, cross-checked them across markets, calculated incentives and chased manager approvals. Four people were involved, managers could take up to 2 days to validate, and account managers waited to see how they did.

How it works

What we built, step by step.

Step 1

Score every account manager

The workflow pulls the month's data, splits it by market and scores each account manager with the same rules every time.

Step 2

One message, one button

The manager gets one Slack message with every result color-coded and a single Approve button.

Step 3

Reports go out by email

Approval sends every account manager a personal report by email on the same day.

Step 4

Ops tasks run in the background

Smaller workflows forward invoices, send low-balance reminders, upload leads to the CRM and look up WhatsApp numbers.

From busywork to running on its own.

The problem

Every month-end, sales operations pulled performance numbers, cross-checked them across markets, calculated incentives and chased manager approvals. Four people were involved, managers could take up to 2 days to validate, and account managers waited to see how they did.

What we built

We built one workflow that pulls the evaluation data, splits it by market for Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines, and scores each account manager automatically. The manager gets a single Slack message with color-coded results and one Approve button, which sends each person their own report by email. Smaller workflows also handle invoice forwarding, low-balance WhatsApp reminders, CRM lead uploads and WhatsApp number lookups.

What changed

A 2-day, 4-person process became one click. The math is done before the manager looks, so approval is a decision rather than a check, and every account manager hears back on the same day each month.
